About Me:

I specialize in Broadway drumming, with a deep passion for teaching my students to read music on the drums. My approach involves using real-life charts from my past performances and shows, giving students a hands-on experience that prepares them for success on Broadway and beyond.

With a background in both pop/rock and musical theater drumming, I aim to create fluidity across all musical genres. Some of my favorite gigs have included:

-Appearing as a featured drummer with the 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

-Playing in a 60-piece all-female orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl for the Barbie Movie: Live in Concert (where I was affectionately dubbed "Drummer Barbie").

-Performing 8 shows a week in the Broadway production of SIX, for which our album, SIX: Live On Opening Night, was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2022.

My Teaching Philosophy:

I’ve been teaching privately for over 10 years, focusing on helping students achieve their musical aspirations. Whether it’s preparing for auditions, gaining admission to prestigious music colleges and universities, or just learning how to play along to your favorite songs, I provide personalized guidance to help you meet your goals. My lessons are designed to be engaging and effective, ensuring you’re well-prepared for any musical challenge that comes your way.
